Even though Kerala is a 100% literate state, the growth of the industrial sector has not been as per the potential of the state. The highest educated unemployment rate and migration rate show that Keralites are reluctant to invest productively and economically. The money and manpower are not properly tapped. It is found out that the basic core of the problem is the lack of entrepreneurial skills. Hence Department of Industries & Commerce, Government of Kerala set up Entrepreneurship Development Clubs in schools and colleges to inculcate Entrepreneurial culture amongst the youth.
In this college, ED Club was started in the year 2007 to equip the students with the skills, techniques, and confidence to act as torchbearers of the Enterprise for the new generation in the name of “COOPZ MOXIE” which means “cage/shelter providing ability to be active. As the name indicates, the members of the ED Club initiate teamwork to be a successful entrepreneur.

Mission
  • To create wealth and employment in proportion with unlimited natural and immense human resource potential of Kerala by developing entrepreneurship in the youth.
Objectives
  •  To reduce landfill waste by saying no to plastic, initiating eco-friendly measures, using fewer resources, less energy & less labour and also encouraging the usage of cloth products
  • To initiate social service by discovering the passion and strength of students and thereby developing volunteer efforts, thrifty nature, charitable work and Savings mind
  •
  •      To initiate earning while learning by doing business
  • To spread good habits and practices that follow them all through life.

  • To inculcate entrepreneurial culture in the campus by developing business insights, skills, experience & confidence among students, finding innovative & best practices and also supporting students to earn while learning.
