Talk on the Protection of Women: Domestic Violence Act, 2005

MES Asmabi College, in association with the District Legal Services Authority, Thrissur, and the Taluk Legal Services Committee, Kodungallur, organized a talk on "The Protection of Women: Domestic Violence Act, 2005." The event was held on September 11, 2024, at 11:00 AM in the Conference Hall at MES Asmabi College, P. Vemballur. This insightful session aimed to address issues surrounding the protection of women from domestic violence, offering valuable legal insights and information to the attendees. The focus was on raising awareness about the Domestic Violence Act and empowering women with knowledge about their rights and protection mechanisms.

The resource person for the talk was Adv. Shimtha P.N., a panel lawyer with the Taluk Legal Services Committee, Kodungallur. The event was organized by the Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) under the leadership of Dr. Princy Francis, ICC Presiding Officer, and Dr. Reena Mohamed P.M., Principal of MES Asmabi College. Student representatives from all classes actively participated, making the session an excellent platform for learning about women's rights and legal frameworks concerning domestic violence. The interactive nature of the talk allowed participants to engage in discussions and seek clarification on key legal provisions.

എം ഇ എസ്  അസ്മാബി കോളേജ്, തൃശൂർ ജില്ലാ നിയമസേവന അതോറിറ്റി, കൊടുങ്ങല്ലൂർ താലൂക്ക് നിയമസേവന സമിതി എന്നിവയുടെ സഹകരണത്തോടെ "സ്ത്രീകളുടെ സംരക്ഷണം: വീട്ടിലെ പീഡന നിരോധന നിയമം, 2005" എന്ന വിഷയത്തിൽ ഒരു സെമിനാർ സംഘടിപ്പിച്ചു. 2024 സെപ്റ്റംബർ 11-ാം തീയതിയിൽ രാവിലെ 11 മണിക്ക് പി.വെമ്പല്ലൂരിലെ എംഇഎസ് അസ്മാബി കോളേജിലെ കോൺഫറൻസ് ഹാളിൽ വെച്ചാണ് ഈ പ്രഭാഷണം നടന്നത്. സ്ത്രീകളെ വീട്ടിലെ പീഡനത്തിൽ നിന്ന് സംരക്ഷിക്കാനുള്ള നിയമങ്ങളെയും അവബോധമുയർത്തുന്നതിൽ ഈ സെമിനാർ നിർണ്ണായകമായിരുന്നു.

 

താലൂക്ക് നിയമസേവന സമിതിയിലെ പാനൽ അഡ്വക്കേറ്റ് ശ്രീമതി ഷിംത  പി. എൻ. പരിപാടിയുടെ മുഖ്യ പ്രഭാഷകയായി പങ്കെടുത്തു.  Internal Complaints Committee  (ICC) നോഡൽ ഓഫീസർ  ഡോ. പ്രിൻസി ഫ്രാൻസിസിന്റെ നേതൃത്വത്തിലായിരുന്നു ഈ പരിപാടി സംഘടിപ്പിച്ചത്. MES അസ്മാബി കോളേജിന്റെ പ്രിൻസിപ്പൽ ഡോ. റീന മുഹമ്മദ് പി. എം. അദ്ധ്യക്ഷത  വഹിച്ച പരുപാടിയിൽ , എല്ലാ ക്ലാസുകളിലെയും വിദ്യാർത്ഥി പ്രതിനിധികൾ  സജീവമായി പങ്കെടുത്തു.

തൃശൂർ ജില്ലയിൽ കാലിക്കറ്റ് യൂണിവേഴ്സിറ്റി അഫ്‌ലിയേറ്റഡ്‌ കോളേജുകളിലെ ആയിരം എൻ എസ് എസ് വിദ്യാർത്ഥികൾ പങ്കെടുത്ത സ്വച്ഛ് സാഗർ അഭിയാൻ തൃശൂർ ക്യാമ്പയിനിങ്   17 -09 -2022 രാവിലെ 8 മണി മുതൽ 11.30 വരെ എം ഇ എസ് അസ്മാബി കോളേജിൽ  എൻ എസ് എസ് യൂണിറ്റ്സ് 53 & 95   നടത്തി. എസ് എൻ പുരം പഞ്ചായത്ത് പ്രസിഡന്റ് ശ്രീ എം എസ് മോഹനൻ, ഇടവിലങ്ങു പഞ്ചായത്ത് പ്രസിഡന്റ് ശ്രീമതി ബിന്ദു രാധാകൃഷ്‌ണൻ, മതിലകം പഞ്ചായത്ത് പ്രസിഡന്റ് ശ്രീമതി സീനത്ത് ബഷീർ തുടങ്ങിയവരുടെ നേത്യത്വത്തിൽ അതാതുപഞ്ചായത്തുകൾ കോളേജ് കുട്ടികൾക്കു വേണ്ട സുരക്ഷിതത്ത്വവും, റിഫ്രഷ്മെന്റും ഒരുക്കി വൻ വരവേൽപാണ്‌ നൽകിയത്. മൂന്ന് പഞ്ചായത്തുകളിലെ 11 വാർഡുകളിലായി 9കി.മി. ചുറ്റള്ലവിൽ നിന്ന്   സമാഹരിച്ച 312 ചാക്ക് പ്ലാസ്റ്റിക് മാലിന്യങ്ങൾ ബഹുമാനപ്പെട്ട കയ്പമംഗലം എം എൽ എ ശ്രീ ഇ ട്ടി ടൈസൺ മാസ്റ്റർ അതാതു പഞ്ചായത്തുകളിൽ വച്ച് ഹരിത കർമ്മ സേനക്ക് കൈമാറി പ്രോഗ്രാം ഉത്‌ഘാടനം ചെയ്തു . എം ഇ എസ് അസ്മാബി കോളേജ് പ്രിൻസിപ്പൽ  ഡോ എ ബിജു പ്രോഗ്രാം വിശദീകരണം നടത്തി. കാലിക്കറ്റ് യൂണിവേഴ്സിറ്റി സ്വച്ഛ് സാഗർ അഭിയാൻ തൃശൂർ ക്യാമ്പയിനിങ് ഏറ്റെടുത്ത വിദ്യാർത്ഥികൾ ഗുരുതരമായ തീരദേശമാലിന്യ പ്രശ്നങ്ങൾ നേരിട്ട് മനസിലാക്കി പ്ലാസ്റ്റിക് വിമുക്ത നാടിനായ് പോരാടുവാനുള്ള ആർജ്ജവം ഉൾക്കൊണ്ടുകൊണ്ടാണ്   തീരദേശ സ്നേഹം നുകർന്നു നന്ദിയോടെ മടങ്ങിയത്.  എൻ എസ് എസ് നോഡൽ ഓഫീർസ് ആയ ഡോ പ്രിൻസി ഫ്രാൻസിസ്, ഡോ അൻസാർ ഇ ബി, ശ്രീ മുഹമ്മദ് അരീജ്, സ്റ്റുഡന്റ് കോർഡിനേറ്റർസ് ആയ നിഹാല അബ്‌ദുൾ മുത്തലിബ്, അജ്‌മൽ, നിഖിൽ നാഥ് എസ് ആർ തുടങ്ങിയവർ എല്ലാവർക്കും നന്ദി പ്രകാശിപ്പിച്ചു

സ്വച്ഛ് സാഗർ അഭിയാൻ 2022  തൃശൂർ ജില്ലയിൽ  കാലിക്കറ്റ് യൂണിവേഴ്സിറ്റി അഫ്‌ലിയേറ്റഡ്‌ കോളേജുകളിലെ ആയിരം എൻ എസ് എസ് വിത്യാർത്ഥികൾ പങ്കെടുത്ത  സ്വച്ഛ് സാഗർ അഭിയാൻ (17 -9 -2022 ശനിയാഴ്ച്ച) ,  എസ്  എൻ പുരം പഞ്ചായത്ത് പ്രസിഡന്റ്  ശ്രീ  എം എസ് മോഹനൻ, ഇടവിലങ്ങു പഞ്ചാത്തു പ്രസിഡന്റ് ശ്രീമതി ബിന്ദു രാധാകൃഷ്‌ണൻ, മതിലകം പഞ്ചായത്ത് പ്രസിഡന്റ് ശ്രീമതി സീനത്ത് ബഷീർ  തുടങ്ങിയവരുടെ  നേത്യത്വത്തിൽ  അതാതുപഞ്ചായത്തുകൾ  കോളേജ് കുട്ടികൾക്കു വേണ്ട സുരക്ഷിതത്ത്വവും , റിഫ്രഷ്മെന്റും ഒരുക്കി വൻ വിജയമാക്കി കുട്ടികളെ തീരദേശവുമായി  അടുത്തിടപഴകുവാൻ അവസരം കൊടുത്ത  എല്ലാവർക്കും ആയിരമായിരം നന്ദി .               ഈ പ്രോഗ്രാമെന്റെ  ഒരു അവലോകന യോഗം നാളെ (19 -09 -2022) തിങ്കളാഴ്ച 2 .30 എം ഇ എസ് അസ്മാബി കോളേജ് ഓഡിറ്റോറിയത്തിൽ വച്ച് നടത്തുന്നു. ഇതിന്റെ നടത്തിപ്പുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട  എല്ലാവരെയും  ഈ യോഗത്തിലേക്കു സാദരം ക്ഷണിച്ചുകൊള്ളുന്നു
